How to get to Forshaga

Forshaga is located in the county of Värmland. This is a region in the middle of Sweden, just north of lake Vänern - the largest lake in Western Europe.

Karlstad is situated on European highway 18 connecting Stockholm and Oslo with access to Gothenburg. The cities of Gothenburg, Stockholm and Oslo are approximately at the same distance from Karlstad, between 250 and 300 km.Take route 62 from Karlstad to Forshaga. The road connects northern and southern Värmland and has access to Kil, Molkom and Sunne.Highway 45 connects Gothenburg with the northern parts of Sweden and stretches all through the province.

By bus


The public transport system is well developed and there are frequent connections with Stockholm , Gothenburg and Oslo.

By train


Railway connections are easily accessible in Karlstad with express trains to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo.

How to get to the Tourist office, Sport fishing centre and Fishingcamp

Take route 62 from Karlstad to Forshaga. In Forshaga, follow the signs to Forshaga Lärcenter.
