The road connects northern and southern Värmland and has access to Kil, Molkom and Sunne.Highway 45 connects Gothenburg with the northern parts of Sweden and stretches all through the province.

Take route 62 from Karlstad to Forshaga. In Forshaga, follow the signs to Forshaga Lärcenter.
